Electrical designers

Designers enjoy advantages
Electrical designers have just as many advantages with VAMOCON as assembly manufacturers. You can always design with a single system, regardless of which switchgear is intended to be used. That makes you quicker. VAMOCON’s cubicle widths, depths and heights have industrial-standard dimensions. The rated currents of the devices and the short-circuit withstand currents are equivalent to manufacturers’ own systems, and are mostly even higher. You can find more details in the VAMOCON system manual.

Tender texts are also available
Design your switchboards with the VAMOCAD online configurator and you’ll see precisely to the nearest millimetre how high, deep and wide your assembly will be. At the push of a button, you’ll receive the tender texts for the planned assembly on your PC. All documents are designed so that you can edit them further or integrate them into other documents.

Free tender texts and performance specifications
VAMOCON tender texts are also available free of charge and without registering on the German-language AUSSCHREIBEN.DE website in the “Elektro” (Electrical Engineering) section. You can download the texts in GAEB 90, GAEB XML, DATANORM 5, ÖNORM, WORD, EXCEL, RTF, PDF or TEXT formats. Explanations, pictures and tables leave no questions unanswered.

We offer special training courses for engineering firms and electrical designers. We’ll be delighted to set up the access to our partner area for you. There you’ll find relevant design documents, calculation tools, tender texts and presentations. You can also benefit from our partner network, which includes many assembly manufacturers who have special expertise in the high-current sector.

The VAMOCAD online configurator is our platform for accessing the VAMOCON kit system. VAMOCAD saves you time throughout the entire process: from the configuration and ordering to the installation and system documentation.

  • VAMCOCAD enables you to configure your assembly intuitively and quickly
  • Assembly configuration with all available types of switchgear and construction types
  • Design verification and documentation according to standard IEC 61439-2
  • Output of project-related 2D and 3D views of the assembly
  • Creation of component lists for ordering and for preparing internal work
  • Download your bill of quantities according to the configured assembly
  • Central project management of all users in your company

VAMOCAD is an online application that you can use immediately. We regularly update it with new technical solutions or equipment combinations and keep the system up to date. After it is successfully activated, you can access the configurator by logging into the login area.

Safe is safe: Only configurations with design verification are possible in VAMOCAD. The properties of the switchgear assembly are extensively documented, e.g. in component lists, views, installation instructions and checklists.
